Nintendo announced several new games, along with new gameplay videos and details about games that were previously announced. Reggie mentioned that the NX console was a dedicated game platform, but that they would not be covering it in detail until next year. The updates in the Nintendo direct are as follows:

    New games

Star Fox Zero: While the game was hinted at in the previous E3, very little was known about until now. The new trailer showed off the Arwing, the walker, the Landmaster tank, and the Gyrowing. The game is scheduled to release sometime this year.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes: A co-op online multiplayer game that allows up to 3 players. The game is expected to release in Fall 2015 exclusively on 3DS.

Hyrule Warriors Legends: This official announcement confirms the leaked footage from last week. Tetra and King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule from Zelda: Wind Waker are being added to this game.

Animal Crossing Happy Home Designers: As in previous Animal Crossing games you'll be able to design your own home, but this game will also allow you to design other villager's homes. The game is scheduled to release July 30th in Japan, September 25th in NA, and October 2nd in Europe exclusively on 3DS.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival: This game appears to have Mario Party like game play, and it seems to require the player to use animal crossing amiibos as playable characters like Tom Nook and Isabelle. The game is scheduled to release on Wii U in holiday 2015.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam: Nintendo announced a new installment in the Mario series, which mixes the style of the 3D Mario games and Paper Mario. The game is scheduled to release in Spring 2016.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash: The next installment in Mario tennis was announced, and it's scheduled to release this holiday 2015 on Wii U.

    Games with new trailers/details

Skylanders Super Chargers: This game will now support amiibo usage, and those who have amiibos can use them as playable characters. Bowser and Donkey Kong are the first figures that have been announced as supported.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: An open world RPG from Monolith Soft got a new gameplay video, and Nintendo announced that the game would be released December 4th.

Yo-Kai Watch: It was previously announced that this game was going to be localized for North America, though Nintendo announced during their E3 that the game was coming in 2015.

Yoshi’s Woolly World: This game will release in the United States in October, several months after it releases in other regions. The game also will allow the user to change the appearance of Yoshi using amiibos.
